Hello, world!
I'm currently in the process of migrating all of my repositories from GitHub to Codeberg.
As you may know, GitHub is owned by Microsoft. If you didn't know that, now you do.
GitHub is very well a proprietary platform. I find this ironic, given it's the de facto place for
open-source software, though it's also the reason I'd like to avoid relying on it.
Also, GitHub seems to keep trying to find ways to get AI into their experience, and I'm not trying to make an AI
debate, and I'm not going to scream and thrash, but I find this very annoying.
I've been thinking about migrating for a while, actually, and I'm now doing it.
I am not done doing this yet; it's a fairly long process, and it's pretty late where I am, but I'm expecting
to be finished migrating things by 2026-08-11.
I've chosen to migrate to Codeberg. I like their service, it's nice. And, consequently, I'm also migrating away
from GitHub Pages and to Codeberg's hosting via git-pages. I'm actually mostly done with that as of writing this.
You can find my Codeberg page here.
Now, for the Lifeline.PYR updates. v1.1 is going well, I've been working on refactors. I'd consider the update…
fairly close to completion. I also plan on making a blog/updates thing for it, that would exist on this page.
That will be a thing soon, though my bandwidth for development projects is a little bit consumed right now,
see aforementioned. That will be the next or second thing I do after the migration, probably.
That's all! Goodbye :^3
